Admission & Eligibility

Admission & Eligibility – Junior College

  1. Admission to First year in Junior college (FYJC – Std XI) is offered following the declaration of result of S.S.C. examination by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. The admissions are given strictly as per the directions issued by the Department of Education, Govt. of Maharashtra from time to time.
  2. The candidates who have passed the S.S.C. examination of Maharashtra Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or an examination regarded as equivalent by the State Board are eligible for admission to F.Y.J.C. (Std XI) class.
  3. The eligible candidates have to apply in the prescribed form made available after the declaration of S.S.C. result.
  4. The schedule of admission as prescribed by the Deputy Director (Education), Dept. of education, Govt. of Maharashtra will be strictly followed.
  5. Students passing Std. X from CBSE and ICSE Boards will be considered at par with those who have passed the S.S.C. examination of the State Board.

  1. Statement of marks 2 attested copies along with original has to be submitted at the time of admission.
  2. School Leaving Certificate Original & 1 attested
  3. * Caste Certificate – 1 attested copy (Original to be shown at the time of admission).
  4. Adhaar Card 2 Photo Copy.
  5. Address Proof 2 Photo Copy (Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Flat Agreement, Etc.)
  6. 2 Passport Size Photographs
  7. Online Proof (Part 1 & Part 2)
  8. Online Allotment Letter

Scheme of Evaluation

Marking Scheme
First Unit Test - 25 Marks
First Terminal Exam – 50 Marks (40 Marks Written +10 Marks Oral)
Second Unit Test – 25 Marks (15 Marks Written +10 Marks Assignment)
Second Terminal Exam – 100 (80 Marks Written + 20 Marks Oral)

Scheme of Evaluation

  • Students of F.Y.J.C. ( ARTS, SCIENCE, COMMERCE ) have to appear for 4 exams in an academic year.
  • Every student is expected to secure a minimum of 35% marks in every subject to pass the academic year.
  • The Final result of the XI Std. exams are based on the average marks secured in all the 4 exams.
  • 70 marks theory exam and 30 marks practical's/ project (chemistry, Physics, Biology ).
  • 80 marks theory exam and 20 marks orals (languages)
  • 80 marks theory exam and 20 marks practical for mathematics, Information Technology (Arts, Science & Commerce).
  • 80 Marks theory and 20 marks project (for all subjects of Arts & Commerce)

Health & Physical Education Compulsory (Graded examination)

50 marks exam in each term

  • 25 marks written exam will be conducted during the first term and Second Term.
  • 25 marks Practical in each term. The average marks obtained by the student will be converted into grades and displayed on the final mark sheet issued to the student for the academic year.

Environment education and water security. Compulsory (Graded examination)

Total 50 Marks

  • 30 marks Project and 20 marks journal have to be submitted by every student.
  • The marks obtained by the student will be added to the total marks scored by the student in the academic year.
